Seawood Elementary School is a K-5 school built in 1960.  It is located on the west side of Saint John at the intersection of Sand Cove Road and Bleury Street.  Seawood School serves a student population of approximately 115 students.  Most of our students, (85%), are considered walking students.

Seawood Elementary School opened in 1960 with Mr. J. Douglas Fox as Head Teacher.  He held the position of Principal until his retirement in 1994.  The school library is named in his honour.
